The Stratford Playwrights group aim to encourage local writers to develop their stagecraft skills through readings and performances of their work with professional actors before an audience. In October 2001, they presented six short pieces for the stage, especially written for the RSC SummerHouse as curtain raisers for performances in the main theatres.
